About this event
The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library welcomes Zábřeh Brass Orchestra from the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic for a free concert. The band, with 50 performers, has delighted crowds at numerous festivals, competitions, and concert tours in the Czech Republic and abroad. During its history, it has performed in Norway, France, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany, Poland and Slovakia.
A significant milestone was its participation in the prestigious international festival in Shanghai, China in 2015. Based on its success there, the orchestra was invited again in 2019, this time to two international festivals in Beijing and Rizhao. This year, the orchestra embarks on another significant chapter — a concert tour with stops in Cedar Rapids, Chicago, and New York, where it will represent Czech music, Advent traditions, and its region among expatriate communities and the American audience
